    Auto locking
I personally dont mind it, but the mrs is paranoid that if she has an accident some one wont be able to open the door to get her out. I have explained that if it was bad enough to be needing to be rescued the door wont open any way.

    Hi all,
we picked up our new 3 saturday and so far loving it.
we did get a puncture 35 miles after picking it up which put a downer on it as we live in poole and bought it brighton, luckily quickfit were still open and did a good job for a good price.

Anyway, the only thing annoying the mrs is the autolock, can this be disabled?

After selling the 6 and moving on to an Outlander PHEV, i thought that that would be it for mg and me.

But the good lady decided that she'd had enough of her Panda and asked to call at rivervale to have a look. we signed up there and then for a 3style in white.

But, she wanted black wheels, so dealer offered to do the originals at less than half price of buying them.
A good partex was agreed on the 0% deal.
a few days later and a phone call from salesman that he had made a mistake and we couldnt have a style on 0%, but we can have a style lux at no extra cost to us. (lux is available on 0%)
delivery to dealer should be week commencing 9/11 but due to other commitments we cant collect until 21/11.
nevertheless, we are both very excited????

Purbeck mg did the 3rd service today at 42.5k miles.
not cheap, needed new front discs and pads. £458 lighter.
but i did get to sample the fiesta eco boost courtesy car. actually a very nice motor, quite quick, but not that economical at 80. quiet, comfortable and handled well.

last night about 630pm followed a blue 6 reg -boy- all the wau up gravel hill into winborne, i pulled off at ambulance station roundabout to go up to colehill.
then this morning heading towards poole near hatchpond a white 6 coming the other way.
getting too common, going to have to get rid

  • Cars runs better with TC off??
ive been playing with this theory, and i agree. the jerkiness goes away with it turned off.

    mines a 62 plate lpg.

as for safety issues, you would have to be a real plank to have a problem.

travelled all the way to hull for the gas service doing at maple garage. due to the distance i have had to travel barry came in special on a saturday. Barry is a top bloke.
the drive back was a revelation, car is completley different. whatever tweeks he did to the pressure and ecu has completely changed it.
I was having trouble with stalling and it feeling a bit asthmatic, but now it pulls off with hardly any gas pedal required, pulls strongly throughout the rev range and averadged 5mpg more on the way home that going.
